Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- connect their own services and applications to the IoS framework
- exchange personal data with other services through PODS (e.g. Moodle and Mahara, 2 different instances of Moodle, etc.)
- measure the benefits of PODS-based architecture over 'classical' IDM architectures
Goals (mid term)
- establish a core network of IoS developers
- contribute to the official release of PODS provision / interface specifications
Programme
- 13 May: introduction to the TAS3 architecture and the IoS, PODS-based, federation —a series of highly interactive presentations, with demonstrations, to bring up to speed participants with the concepts, architecture components and integration methodology
- 14-15 May: integration of services to the IoS federation —hands-on workshop where developers will have the opportunity to get experts support to code the connection of their services to the IoS federation of PODS hosting providers.
